Intersystems Breaks Ground on $10 Million Expansion Tuesday, Aug. 30, Omaha business leaders celebrated with Gov. Dave Heineman and Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle as Intersystems broke ground on an expansion of its facility at 9575 N. 109th Ave. Jim Krieger, vice chairman and CFO of Gallup and chairman of the Greater Omaha Chamber’s board of directors, represented the Chamber. “Last year, Walter Grieg, Intersystems president, shared the company’s vision for continued growth with our Chamber board,” said Krieger. “The Chamber is proud of our partnership with Intersystems.” David G. Brown, President and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber added, "In 2009, when Intersystems opened their 140,000 state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, they demonstrated their confidence in Omaha as the right place to support a large manufacturing-based operation. At that time, Walter said he wanted to be ready when things picked up in 2010 and 2011. That was a smart business move that has paid off. " |
