Distefano Technology and Manufacturing Celebrates New Location
Distefano Technology and Manufacturing was showing off their new location at 3838 S. 108th St. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, during their grand opening celebration.
Joining Behlen Chairman Tony Raimondo addressing the group were Behlen President and CEO Phil Raimondo, Vice Chairman of the Board Tony Raimondo, Jr., U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson and Steve Oltmans representing the city of Omaha.
The speakers acknowledged the efforts of the Greater Omaha Chamber’s Economic Development Partnership and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
The Partnership, in close cooperation with the city of Omaha, worked with the company for more than three years helping with site selection and business incentive assistance. Retaining DTM in the Omaha area was the primary objective.
DTM has been operating in two locations the last decade. This new building offers more than 160,000 square feet giving DTM the opportunity to grow and add machines and processes as the business continues to expand. DTM has 90 employees and hopes to expand to 100.
