Omaha is Once Again Flying High
Greater Omaha is flying along with 4.7 million Delta Airline passengers during October. Delta Sky magazine features a 28-page spread on Omaha in its October edition, highlighting the city’s successful business climate, tourism attributes and its distinctive neighborhoods.
“We are delighted that Delta Airlines selected Omaha as its feature city in Sky magazine,” said David G. Brown, Greater Omaha Chamber president and CEO. “This certainly enhances our on-going efforts to promote Greater Omaha’s pro-business climate to the world and allows us to showcase the results of more than $3.3 billion in capital investment since 2004.”
The Chamber and the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership collaborated with the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau on this Greater Omaha image piece.
“We thank Delta for putting a spotlight on Omaha and consider this special feature an invitation for travelers to experience the city’s culturally charged art scene, energetic sports atmosphere and world-class attractions,” said Dana Markel, executive director of the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau. “An opportunity to reach 5 million Delta passengers gives our city a chance to show how Omaha has grown as a destination.”
